Tour program

DAY 1: Skopje
Full day Skopje city tour with local guide. Walking in the city center and Skopje old bazaar, visit to Mother Teresa Memorial house (inside). Afternoon visit to Matka valley and lake and possibility to have a boat ride to the entrance of cave Vrelo. Back to Skopje. O/N hotel Ibis center 4* or similar.

DAY 2: Tour to Kosovo
Full tour to Kosovo, the youngest European country, with local guide. Visit to Grachanica monastery (inside) site protected by UNESCO. Coffee break at the capital Pristina and afternoon drive and visit to the picturesque town of Prizren. Back to Skopje in the evening. Overnight in Skopje.

DAY 3: Central Macedonia and Tikvesh wine region
Morning visit to Vodno mountain near Skopje and the Millenium cross with cable car (fee included). Afternoon drive towards the most famous Macedonian wine region – Tikvesh. Visit to Stobi ancient site from 1st century AD. Possibility to have dinner and wine tasting at the local winery. O/N in Tikvesh wine region.

DAY 4: Bitola, Prespa lake and Galichica NP
After breakfast drive towards Bitola, the second biggest town in Macedonia. Walk in the city center and visit to Heraclea Lynkestis ancient site (inside). Passing by Prespa lake and drive across Galichica NP, with spectacular views of both lakes. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel Aqualina 4* or similar.

DAY 5: Ohrid and Ohrid lake
Ohrid and Ohrid lake are part of UNESCO World heritage. Walking tour in the old town of Ohrid with local guide and visits inside to some of the most important Ohrid sights – The Ohrid fortress (inside) the Holly area of Plaosnik with new St Klement’s church (inside) the small church of St John in Kaneo (outside) and the cathedral church of St Sofia (inside). Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel Aqualina 4* or similar.

DAY 6: Day tour to Mavrovo NP and Galichnik traditional village
Full day tour from Ohrid to Mavrovo national park and the traditional village of Galichnik, the highest village in Macedonia. Drive along the lakes made by the river Black Drim and along Radika river to Mavrov lake. After 30 min drive on the narrow mountain road arrival in Galichnik. Possibility for horse ride (with supplement) or to have some home made snack at the family restaurant. Back to Ohrid late afternoon. Overnight at hotel Aqualina 4* or similar.

DAY 7: St. Naum and welcome to Albania 
Morning visit to St Naum. Visit the monastery (inside) possibility to have a boat ride on the lake, above the springs of Black Drim river. Afternoon drive towards Albanian capital Tirana, with stop at Elbasan. O/N in Tirana, hotel Mondial 4* or similar.

DAY 8: Tirana, Shkodra and welcome to Montenegro
In a morning Tirana walking tour with local guide and visit to the National museum (inside). Drive north to the town of Shkodra. Possibility to visit Rozafa castle. Afternoon drive towards Montenegro. Drive along Montenegro coastline with photo stop by St. Stefan island. O/N in Budva area, 4*.

DAY 9: Cetinje and Boka Kotorska to Dubrovnik
Morning drive towards Cetinje, the former capital of Montenegro. Recommended to visit is the National & Relief museum. Afternoon drive along Boka Kotorska bay with stop and individual visit to Kotor old town. Border crossing and drop off at in Dubrovnik.

End of the tour.
