PROPOSED TOUR ITINERARY 

DAY 1: Welcome to Macedonia
Meeting with your driver at Skopje airport. In the afternoon private guided Skopje tour. Overnight in Skopje, hotel Ibis Center 4* or similar.

DAY 2: The Ottoman heritage of Skopje
This day private Skopje tour will be focused on the old part, where a lot of Ottoman monuments can be seen and visited. Several inns and Turkish hamamms, together with Mustapha pasha mosque are part of that. Overnight in Skopje, hotel Ibis Center 4* or similar.

DAY 3: Day tour to Kosovo
Private full day tour to Kosovo, visiting Pristina, the Kosovo capital, and Ethnology museum. Next site is close to Pristina, the Turkish turbe with remains of Sultan Murat I. Afternoon drive towards Prizren. Visit to the main mosque and walking in the old bazaar. Drive back to Skopje for overnight.

DAY 4: West Macedonia sights
Departure to the city of Tetovo and visit to the unique Dappled mosque. Later on, visit to Tetovo tekje and possible meeting with the Bektashi order. Drive towards Mavrovo national park, passing by many picturesque old traditional villages. Upon arrival in Ohrid, afternoon private Ohrid city tour. Overnight in Ohrid, hotel Millenium palace Ohrid 4* or similar.

DAY 5: Full day Bitola and Prespa lake tour
Drive towards Bitola and private city tour the main square, the Turksih bazaar, passing tow mosques and the town symbol – the Clock tower. Visit to the City museum with part dedicated to Mustapha Kemal Ataturk. Afternoon drive towards second largest Macedonian lake Prespa. Crossing Galichica National park and arrival to Ohrid. Overnight at hotel Millenium palace Ohrid 4* or similar.

DAY 6: Welcome to Albania
Crossing Macedonia – Albania border in the morning and arrival to the most picturesque city in Albania – Berat. The city is known also as “the city of 1000 windows” and today is UNESCO site. Visit to the castle and Onufri museum. Drive to Tirana and overnight at hotel Mondial 4* or similar.

DAY 7: Montenegro coastline
Private Tirana city tour with visit to National museum. Drive north and passing Shkodra arrival at Albania – Montenegro border. Afternoon drive along Montenegro coastline to Boka Kotorska bay. Visit to Kotor old town (on your own). O/N in Budva, hotel 4*.

DAY 8: Welcome to Bosnia and Herzegovina
Morning departure towards Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina, passing the town of Trebinje and high mountains of south Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stopover at unique nature of Blagaj and source of river Buna. O/N in Mostar, hotel Kapetanovina 4* or similar.

DAY 9: The Ottoman heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Private Mostar city tour, passing the Old Bridge and with visit to “Turkish house”. Afternoon arrival to Sarajevo and private city tour at this town, full with Ottoman remains and sights. Overnight in Sarajevo, hotel Bosnia 4* or similar.

DAY 10: Welcome to Serbia
Long distance drive to Belgrade, the Serbian capital. Drive along Drina river with nice panoramic views on both sides. Upon arrival in Belgrade afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Belgrade, centrally located 4* hotel .

DAY 11: Belgrade and Novi Sad
Morning visit to Novi Sad, the picturesque city in Vojvodina area. Drive via Frushka gora back to Belgrade and afternoon time to explore the city of Belgrade and Kalemegan area. Overnight in Belgrade, centrally located 4* hotel. End of the tour

DAY 12: Departure
Time at leisure before transfer to Belgrade airport.
End of the tour
